THEME: “ Develop young carers’ practical, creative and entrepreneurial skills”
IARS will launch the findings of the Erasmus+ “Care to entrepreneurship” project. Coordinated by Professor Theo Gavrielides, C2e involves five countries (Greece, Italy, Romania, Belgium and the UK).
Young carers across Europe, face common difficulties when accessing everyday education, training and employment. The project also showed that due to the circumstances they grow up with, the same young people develop a number of soft or interpersonal skills and competences which with the right nurturing could lead them to develop their own businesses. This entrepreneurial approach to employment is the focus of this new Erasmus+ funded payment Care2Entrepreneurship.
“The conference will be a place where young carers, charity professionals, and others can enjoy inspiring talks and engaging workshops from leading entrepreneurs and business leaders, as well as meet other like-minded individuals.
